Jan Döring

Jan is a partner in Prophet’s London office. He brings more than 15 years of management consulting experience in the fields of brand, marketing and business strategy.

Jan specializes in the development and implementation of business strategies and marketing tactics to achieve long and short-term growth goals. He has worked with a variety of German, Swiss and international brands in industries such as financial services, telecommunications, retail, FMCG and utilities. Jan is an angel investor for various business ventures.

In 2005 Jan co-founded Noshokaty, Döring & Thun (NDT), a Berlin-based management consulting boutique which quickly became a go-to firm for strategic partnership projects and digital transformation. In January 2011, Prophet and NDT joined forces and Jan helped to accelerate Prophet’s business in Germany before he moved to Zürich in 2015, then London in 2017.

Jan started his professional career at the German management consultancy Droege & Comp. in Atlanta and New York before joining BBDO Consulting’s (now Batten & Company) Düsseldorf office where he advised clients in the areas of brand management and customer relationship management.

Jan holds a German Diploma degree in Business Administration and an MBA.
